The name VANGARDIST comes from the term avant-garde. They are the very guys marching in front of the troupes doing research and always looking for new paths, pioneers, so to speak VANGARDIST stands for all kinds of pioneers: in fashion, lifestyle, travel, technology, art and culture. It means finding your own way of living within a society while at the same time being a part of it.
The VANGARDIST App is an application for iPhones, iPods and iPads. We are currently working on apps for other devices too. The application is free and works like a virtual “kiosk“ for the VANGARDIST magazines. It contains a video and a demo version of the VANGARDIS. We hope that it will get your interest and we’ve aroused your curiosity enough for you to go and buy a whole copy for only 0,99 USD or 0,79 Euros.
The VANGARDIST is a totally independent organisation with over 30 writers, programmers, bloggers, graphic designers and organizers. Funding all this wonderful work solely through private means is becoming exceedingly difficult. The conditions and terms of use apply to all interactive services provided by www.VANGARDIST.com including its newsletter. All these services are currently offered for free.
The user takes note that all contributions, services and contents offered upon and available on the website are subject to legal rights. Its usage is therefore solely permitted within the framework of the applicable legal provisions.
By transmitting data to the VANGARDIST the user authorizes the VANGARDIST to use all data without restrictions with regards to its publication, utilization, changing and linking. The VANGARDIST magazine is released as an application for iPhone, iPod and IPad. Registered subscribers are informed about new issues via newsletter. The subscriber agrees to the saving and processing of his data, as well as the transmission of information material of the VANGARDIST’s Media Corporations products, special offers on subscriptions, prize draws and similar offers via email. Subscriber can withdraw their consent at any time. Users confirm their knowledge of, as well as agreement to all applicable general conditions. The users themselves ensure acknowledgement of all possible changes of applicable terms and conditions.
Prize draws are announced at the www.VANGARDIST.com website, on the World Wide Web or at public events (for example via flyer). By participating, users confirm their knowledge of the applicable terms and conditions. Eligible participants are individuals from the minimum age of 14 who have provided all the necessary information on the registration form and who can also provide a viable address within Austria, Germany or Switzerland that enables delivery of the raffle prizes. Employees of the VANGARDIST Media Corporation and their relatives are excluded from entry. No cash redemptions in place of winnings are possible. The user does not incur any legal rights to specific services as a result their entry in the prize draw. VANGARDIST retains the right to retract any prize draw or to extend its run time. With each entry to a prize draw, the user declares to waive any right to legal action where applicable as well as to possible entitlements while the prize draw is under process. The VANGARDIST declares to treat all user data diligently at all times and to use it under this agreement exclusively for the implementation of its services and the services agreed as the VANGARDIST’s services.
